Sheffield Memorial Park was created by the City of Sheffield as a memorial to the city’s battalion, though it was actually the Accrington Pals who attacked at this point.
A length of front line trench and a rear line with shell craters has been preserved here around the Sheffield Memorial.
Sheffield Memorial Park is located approximately 0.5km west of Serre and 0.5km north of Serre Road Cemetery No.1.
