Norfolk Cemetery was begun by the 1st Norfolks in August, 1915 and used by other units (including the 8th Norfolks) until August, 1916. After the Armistice it was nearly doubled in size by the concentration into Plot I, Row D, and Plot II of 268 graves from the battlefields nearby.

Norfolk Cemetery is on the east side of the road to Bécourt from Bécordel-Bécourt, further north than Dartmoor Cemetery.
