The cemetery immediately to the left of the wood (on the right of the minor road) is the Connaught Cemetery.  Mill Road Cemetery can be seen to the left of the track beyond the Ulster Memorial. 

The Memorial to the Missing is standing in wooded grounds on the right centre of the picture, above Thiepval Wood. 

In the fields between the wood and the memorial there are obvious soil marks indicating the line of the trenches.
