Vretsia - Deserted Village In Cyprus

Vretsia is one of the many totally deserted villages you happen upon in Cyprus.

There’s a number of totally deserted villages in Paphos Region.

A legacy of the war in 1974, the Turkish-Cypriots left their villages in what had become the Greek-Cypriot part of the island.

Their houses remain against the day they may return.

Check out the Vretsia album to see the pictures.
