Autumn Sun at Newton Wood, Newton Blossomville, Buckinghamshire

Our dog walk today was to Newton Wood on the high ground above Newton Blossomville in Buckinghamshire.

High ground?  North Buckinghamshire?  Everything is relative!

From there you can see across to our village of Lavendon and to Olney.  It’s no Munro, but it’s high for around here!

A beautiful sunny day, but with a stiff breeze.  The passing weather front of the previous day had left the air almost perfectly clear so it was a day that it’s a joy to be out in.

We set off across the fields, and then headed back to the car through the wood.  Logic being the bit through the wood would be into the sun – so every exciting backlit shot would present itself.

After the previous walk round Summerleys Nature Reserve on Sunday, this was easy.  The sort of day where even if you leave your camera zipped up in its case, it’ll still take great pictures.

See all my pictures of Buckinghamshire.
