Please join us to celebrate the life of Mike McCormac starting at St Peter and St Paul Church in Olney on Thursday 13 Feb 2014 at 2pm.

**Updated**

Church Celebration

The service will last around an hour. Then family will leave with Mike for a committal service at the crematorium in Milton Keynes. We will be gone for about an hour and a bit.

Continuing Celebration

Please do stay after the service to eat and drink and share your favourite memories of Mike at The Courtyard Brasserie, Rose Court, just off the Market Place in Olney (MK46 4BY).

I know it's a long wait for you but I'd really appreciate it. You can either go straight to the location for the continuing celebration or take a wander round Olney, it's a pretty little town with interesting shops. Mike was planning a photography project to capture the charm of the town.

Sadly, we don't have exclusive use of the premises till 4.30pm. But please say you are there for Mike, I have arranged a tab with them so you can have some refreshments.

A finger buffet will be served shortly after 4.30pm and the food there is always tasty.

At 5pm I'd like to have a toast for Mike, please have your glasses charged in preparation.

What to Wear

Wear what you feel is appropriate - don't feel obliged to wear black - I'm not going to. Mike's favourite colour was blue, particularly a bright cyan blue. The colour associated with pancreatic cancer is purple.

Where to Park

Parking in Church Street near the church is limited. Here is a map to help you decide where to park. Note the car park in Olney Market Place it's used for the market on a Thursday. The church postcode is MK46 4AD.

Flowers or Donations

Mike preferred flowers in the garden so we've decided on family flowers only. Please don't feel you have to make a donation, but if you would like to, thank you. I'd like to share any donations between Willen Hospice and Friends of Cobbs Garden Surgery. Both provided an amazing amount of help and support to us.

Drop Me a Line

I'd appreciate it so much if you would let me know if you are planning to come to the service and/or the continuing celebration. Thank you.
