I've updated the Chasewater Railway Diesel Album with some pictures taken at one of Jason Cross’ East Midlands Railway Photographic Society photo charters.

It was a bitterly cold January evening, but as always, a really good laugh with a bit of photography thrown in on the end.

We had a Class 37 and a Class 73 to play with, plus a little 0-4-0 diesel shunter doing odd appearances.

I really like the guys at the Chasewater Railway.

One of them who always takes the mickey out of me remarked that their shed yard ‘Looks just like Eastleigh Mike’.  Said with a Brummie accent and coming out of the darkness, it was just hilarious.

See my album of the Chasewater Railway.
