Martinsart British Cemetery, Thiepval

Martinsart British Cemetery. The red Corsehill headstones are an unusual feature of the cemetery. They were used as a trial in the early days of the War Graves Commission to test for the effects of weathering.

Martinsart British Cemetery is located on the southern edge of Martinsart on the north side of the road to Aveluy.
