Bronfay Farm Military Cemetery, Mametz

Bronfay Farm Military Cemetery. The cemetery contains the graves of 516 soldiers from the UK, 15 from Australia, two from India, one from South Africa and one whose origin is not known. There are 13 unknown graves and special memorials are erected to two UK soldiers thought to be buried in the cemetery. October 4, 2002. (0203549)

 

Bronfay Farm Military Cemetery was begun by French troops in October 1914, but was little used.  Later it was used by British troops between August 1915 and February 1917.
