After the stage Mikkelsen commented, "It was good, I tried to go clean and tidy, we didn't want to take any risk. I want to keep the rhythm, we are having fun". 5 November 2011

They retired after SS8 with a technical problem with the engine. After the stage Al-Attiyah commented, "Had a spin just before the SS finish. We had a big moment before the finish.
