In adjoining graves in Plot I, Row A of Dartmoor Cemetery are buried a father and son, who served in the same battery, and were killed in action on the same day. 

They are Sergeant George Lee (father) and Corporal Robert Frederick Lee (son), both of ‘A’ Battery, 156th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. 

They both died on September 15, 1916, the father aged 44 and the son aged 19.  They came from 16 Talfourd Road, Peckham, London.
