Under TOPS the locomotive became 25.193.
D7543 was withdrawn from service on 12 November 1984.
Class 25/2 no. 25.193 at Birmingham New Street. The locomotive was heading the 06.25 Poole to Liverpool Lime Street service, havng taken over from a failed Class 47 between Leamington and Coventry. The locomotive came off at Birmingham New Street to be replaced by an electric. 15 August 1983. Ref 0002267
