D404 / 50.004 "St. Vincent"
D404 entered service on 23 December 1967, going on to be renumbered 50.004 under TOPS and named "St. Vincent" on 9 May 1978.
D404 was withdrawn on 22 June 1990 and scrapped at Booths in Rotherham.

As a southbound oil tank train rumbles over the flyover at Acton, it passes a northbound Class 501 electric multiple unit forming a North London Line service.
At the same time Class 50 no. 50.004 "St Vincent" roars under the flyover at the head of a down service from London Paddington. 26 November 1982. Ref 0001966
